"Meditation is a process of lightening up, of trusting the basic goodness of what we have and who we are, and of realizing that any wisdom that exists, exists in what we already have. We can lead our life so as to become more awake to who we are and what we’re doing rather than trying to improve or change or get rid of who we are or what we’re doing. The key is to wake up, to become more alert, more inquisitive and curious about ourselves.”
MINDFULNESS
Mindfulness is a type of meditation in which you focus on being intensely aware of what you're sensing and feeling in the moment, without interpretation or judgment. Practicing mindfulness involves breathing methods, guided imagery, and other practices to relax the body and mind and help reduce stress.
SOOTHING VIBRATIONS
Soothing vibrations can reduce tightness by increasing blood circulation and temperature of the muscles. Increased blood flow causes the temperature of the muscle to increase therefore inducing relaxation. When muscles are relaxed, tightness is relieved. Vibrations can be used to reduce stress.
YOGA ASANAS
Yoga asanas tone the muscles, develop flexibility and improve posture and spinal alignment. Asanas, or yoga postures, fundamentally act as a lubricating routine to the joints, muscles, ligaments and other parts of the body, increasing circulation and flexibility. Yoga postures initially focus on improving body flexibility (your body is as young as it is flexible). They focus on the health of the spine, its strength and flexibility. The spinal column houses the all-important nervous system.
